The Torso Method (using your body)

There are many ways to accomplish the same thing. Some ways are just more efficient than others. Sifu Mike discusses muscling through a martial arts technique verses using your entire body which some refer to as the Torso Method.

Mobility and Stability

Both mobility and stability are very important but are often counter to each other. The context of the situation and the technique determines the need for one over the other. 

Balance

Balance is an important key aspect within almost all martial arts. Even if you focus on just the ground techniques, having good balance will improve what you are doing. There really isn’t a downside to having good balance.  

Breathing

Humans do not last very long without breathing. It’s pretty vital. This video covers different ways to breath and the situations that those ways can be used in.
